Crazy times all over the country.  I decided to tell you a story and incorporate it into this video and review.  New car sales are down and even used cars have seen a decline.  The service departments of dealerships and repair facilities are open to keep the wheels moving for our treasured first responders, medical heroes, police, fire, national guard and more.  Manufacturers are offering unbelievable “zero down payments†and extended payment plans.   Now might be the time to buy or lease a new vehicle….

HERE is MY STORY

My husband went to high school with the singer/songwriter, Eddie Money.  You may know some of his hits from the 70’s and 80’s.  How about Can’t Hold Back, No Control, Two Tickets to Paradise and Take me Home Tonight?  Eddie lived in Levittown, New York in my husband’s neighborhood.

After high school Eddie put his dream of being a professional musician on hold and decided to follow in his father’s footsteps to become a police officer.  In 1968 after serving the city of New York for two years, Money left law enforcement to pursue music.

Eddie remained a big advocate for first responders and the military writing a song and  producing a video called “One More Soldier†https://youtu.be/JjwVQ63jbPQ . He donated 100% of his earnings from that song to the non-profit organization called Intrepid Fallen Heroes.

My husband and I, along with another high school buddy, went to see him and his family in concert three years ago in Arizona. It was so nice to see them surprise Eddie after the concert.  Eddie was signing T-Shirts to support the Military.  Eddie Money passed away from Esophageal cancer on September 13, 2019.    Because of today’s environment and his New York roots, this video is in honor of Eddie. RIP
