The Biggest Puddle Lights Ever

What a pleasure it is to test drive a Mercedes Benz, especially a reasonably priced SUV. In the luxury category there are a fair share of compact SUV’s, but I can’t imagine any of them having a puddle light the size of this model. I’ve called them puddle lights for years but on the Mercedes, it is referred to as a LED Logo Projector. Either way, it is awesome.
In case you could care less about a light that shines in your driveway, garage or parking lot of the local grocery store ( we’re still sheltering in) when you open the door,  the GLC 300 comes with an abundance of standard equipment you would not find on another Luxury vehicle at this price point.
Here are things that impressed me, and none are mechanical; the choice of 64-colors of ambient lighting and Illuminated doors sills. I am not kidding; you have 64 colors to choose from and there is the option to change it every five minutes or five years. There are the 20†twin 5-spoke wheels, 10.25 Touchscreen Display Screen, power folding side mirrors, Roof Rails and last but not least a Burmester Surround Sound System.
I’ve owned a Mercedes Benz, so I’m secure in knowing how mechanically sound any model is and how attention to detail is important to the manufacturer and the consumer. Take one for a spin and try a few of the 64 colors of ambient lighting. For more information go to www.mercedesbenz.com and www.hercertified.com
