2020 Lexus ES350 F Sport

This summer, my mom Cathy and I had the opportunity to a quick getaway to the California coast. Even in the middle of a pandemic, sporting our masks and hand sanitizer, we packed like we were leaving for a month (no kids/grandkids!). We made plans to drive to San Luis Obispo, eat fresh seafood and visit Solvang for some wine and wooden shoes (or in Cathy’s case, wooden heels!) Little did I know, Cathy had other plans…like looking for Megan and Harry on our day trip to Santa Barbara (major eye roll). Since we would be looking for royalty, we couldn’t drive just any car to the coast. Our choice of car was the 2020 Lexus ES 350 F Sport. The perfect combination of luxury, sport, and nobility.
We excitedly headed out for our getaway. I was looking forward to getting out of the heat and enjoying the cool, salty sea air and the idea of possibly seeing Prince Harry started to interest me, but we had to get there first. The look of the Lexus F Sport is brilliant. It is longer, lower, wider, and sleeker. It has a sharpness to it that defines Lexus. The wider wheelbase makes the car look like it’s one with the road and the ES sleek design is comparable to popular European cars such as BMW 3 series and Mercedes Benz C-Class.
The features on the Lexus are the crème de la crème. We typed in our destination into the 10.2-inch head up display and we were off. The ES350 is extremely comfortable. Power-adjustable leather bucket seats (heated optional), wood and leather wrapped steering wheel, power rear sunshades, ambient lighting, and easy layout of the controls. There was plenty of room in the trunk for our obnoxious amount of luggage which were mostly red high heels. With the Lexus Multimedia media system, we had access handsfree access to our phones, smart watch, googles assist and amazon Alexa.
As we approached our destination and mom finished watching The Crown, I was still fawning over the Lexus and it’s safety features.  It made our drive more comfortable knowing that we had another set of eyes looking out for us while we chatted back and forth practicing our English accents. All speed-dynamic radar cruise control, lane tracing assist, lane departure alert with steering assist and intelligent high beam headlamps with roadside assistant are just some of the safety features Lexus has to offer!
After a couple of days, a couple of bevvys, and with no sight of Megan and Harry, we enjoyed the rest of our vacation sight-seeing from the Lexus, cruised up and down the coast and enjoyed some great nosh! The Lexus ES350 F Sport is a car with class and comfort and speed. Our drive was safe and enjoyable with all the cool features that Lexus offers. Make your way into your local Lexus dealer and give it a proper drive!
