Nothing packs a punch like the 276-horsepower 3.6 L V6 2018 Volkswagen Atlas which is why it was perfect to take this SUV to the Grand Opening of Jabz – the new, fitness for women boxing gym I recently joined on 16th St. and Bell Road.

As a new member of the gym, Jabz is helping me achieve my personal fitness and health goals. Basically, I want to look and feel good, and the Atlas has definitely accomplished that. It has a beautiful panoramic sunroof, 20” alloy wheels and a powerful and muscular build which is exactly the kind of build I am striving for. The lines on the Atlas are lean and mean, just like the fabulous trainers at Jabz.

The Atlas feels good inside too – it has Climatronic 3-zone automatic climate control, diamond quilted-design cloth seating surfaces and a multi-function steering wheel, 17 cupholders, plenty of USB ports and a ton of space. The 3rd row is Cars.com Best SUV of 2017 and Best of 2018 because it is easy to access and provides lots of legroom. Super important after Wednesday Leg Day at Jabz. The 2nd row isn’t shabby either – it has plenty of room for 3 child seats. No worries – there will not be a third for me. Jabz is helping me get my pre-baby body back.

The Atlas also allows versatile and flexible cargo space (96.8 cubic feet) – flexibility will be something I hope the gym can help me with. I had plenty of room for all my workout gear and boxing gloves, and I could even put a few Bobs (our boxing dummies) in the back for a ride. With the hands-free easy open power liftgate, I could probably carry a Bob under each arm and use my foot under the rear bumper to open that liftgate.

One of my favorite things about the gym so far is the motivating music played during our workouts. It was so easy to get pumped up for class when I was driving the 2018 Volkswagen Atlas because of the 480-watt Fender Premium Audio System. The Sirius XM radio, color touchscreen on the 12.3” display and the App-Connect make this SUV a technology powerhouse.

Jabz and the Atlas are also comparable because they both make it personal. The gym is all about providing personal one on one attention which the Atlas also provides through driver personalization. It can store drivers’ profiles, remembering preferences and settings. My trainers definitely make it personal by cheering me on, even if I am dragging my body across the mat from one exercise to the next.

Jabz guarantees that clients never get bored and the Atlas also makes many guarantees. With America’s Best Bumper-to-Bumper Limited Warranty, the Atlas provides a 6 year/72,000, transferable warranty. With 17/23 mpg and an MSRP of $39,140, this powerhouse of an SUV is guaranteed to make its clients happy as well as safe. Remote start, overview and backup camera, VW Car-Net security and service, pedestrian monitoring and front assist, lane assist and park assist – I wish I had someone to assist me in completing a real burpee.

With the saying Life’s As Big As You Make it, the Atlas offers an adventure with few limitations. Assuring there are no restrictions, the 4Motion with active control allows the driver to easily switch between 4 different all-wheel-drive modes in order to fit the current driving situation, no matter what the conditions. I think Jabz offers something very similar –  I am in the driver’s seat, and I can control any condition I am faced with which is what Jabz and the power of the Atlas have inspired me to do.

MSRP – $30,750
