A True Work of Art
There are a few options for passing the time during this summer heat: hang by the pool or visit a nearby museum. We decided to take a break from the pool since my hair is officially green and head to the Phoenix Art Museum for the day. We had the perfect vehicle to do just that – the 2018 Toyota Camry Hybrid XLE. The art museum provides access to breathtaking visual arts, and the Camry isn’t too shabby to look at either. With LED headlights with an auto on/off feature, power tilt/slide moonroof, single exhaust with chrome finisher and 18” chrome machined-finish alloy wheels, this Hybrid is one piece of art worth looking at.
Entering the Phoenix Art Museum is quite astounding. With a collection of over 18,000 pieces, this museum can keep you busy looking for hours. The interior features of the Camry Hybrid were also incredible and kept surprising me with every ride – the leather-trimmed heated front seats and steering wheel, 7” multi-information display and the Entune 3.0 audio with connected navigation and app suite. The Camry was able to help me find my way to the museum and also prepare me for my museum visit after asking Siri a few questions about modern and contemporary art.
There are so many events at the museum for children and adults throughout the summer. It is a safe place to visit for any age, and the 2018 Toyota Camry Hybrid XLE is a safe SUV that is also harmless to your wallet. This Hybrid rates a perfect 10 for fuel economy and greenhouse gas with an average of 44 mpg city and 47 mpg highway. The model I test drove was priced at $37,265 and even came with the Driver Assist Package which includes the bird’s eye view camera and the adaptive headlights, the power tilt/slide moonroof and the sweet audio package. Along with that, the Camry has ten airbags, a Star Safety System and the Toyota Safety Sense-P which provides lane departure alert with steering assist, automatic high beams and dynamic radar cruise control.
The power of exposing children to the arts is hugely significant in their upbringing, and the power in the Camry is also important especially since consumers have high expectations of a Hybrid. The Hybrid Synergy Drive and Camry’s 2.5L Dynamic Force 4-cylinder engine make a perfect pair and provide reliability and efficiency. You can even select EV, normal, sport and eco modes – just like art, the performance of the Camry caters to a variety of people. As we continue to enjoy our summer by the pool or at the local museums, the 2018 Toyota Camry Hybrid XLE will continue to make a lasting impression.
